We believe that church is not just a building but a community of people who love God and want to build great relationships with others who feel the same.
To encourage this we meet weekly in Connect Groups to build friendships and our faith in God. These are small groups that meet locally in homes and cafes across the region. We meet to share good times, conversation, food and to discover more about God’s teachings. We believe that these groups create and nurture the support and friendships which makes a vibrant and exciting church such as Xcel.
There are also a whole host of age/interest specific groups meetings each month such as 300 – the outreach for men, Girlfriends – a night just for the women and Planet Kids/Planet Youth for all age groups up to 25 years old. To see more about the groups in Xcel just click the ‘groups’ link below.
Xcel Church is also the perfect place to be every Sunday and our venues are so easy to get to, located in Durham, Darlington and Aycliffe.. Morning services are 11-12.30pm and in the evening we meet in one location at Aycliffe for our United Night at 6pm!
There is a creche facility for parents with young children and a fantastic Kids church program so your kids will love the weekends, meeting new friends and growing in their faith.
